Now We Are Six

It’s Rory’s sixth birthday today and since I am home sick, she has spent today stealing my socks and sleeping on the couch. This apparently is the best thing ever if you are a beagle.
I can’t believe Rory is six. It doesn’t seem that long ago that we brought home this tiny 8 week old beagle and now she is all grown up. On the other hand, it feels like she has been a part of our family forever. I can’t imagine life without her.

Leigh: When Rory wakes up, I will tell her that you wished her a happy birthday. She is currently curled up next to me on the couch fast asleep. As for me, I am feeling more human than I was this morning.
